If you don’t pay your property taxes, the government will confiscate your title, deed and land from you or the bank holding your mortgage. While mortgages and the home buying process are usurious on the whole, government taxes on land and property you think belong to you, make the point that you don’t really own it at all.
Proponents argue that property taxes are a necessary and equitable means of funding local government services. But if the government can forcibly seize your property for not paying its extortion fees, they’re basically a mafia protection racket. Property taxes violate an individual's right to private property. As free persons we ostensibly have a moral claim to the fruits of our labor, which includes the property we purchased, and that the state has no rightful claim to this property through taxation. But we are not free. We are free-range humans on the government tax farm.
Adding more fuel to the dumpster fire, governments are provably and demonstrably corrupt at the local, state and federal levels. They borrow from central banks to pay for the “services” they claim to provide, but the politicians always find ways to route those funds back to themselves. They use shell companies and law firms to launder the money. Or they simply have friends and family members positioned on the board of whatever companies (with exorbitant salaries paid just to show up at the golf course once a week and a board meeting every other Tuesday) win those sweet, sweet government contracts.
How many times have we seen politicians getting dirty, filthy stinking rich (more or less, depending) from such awards? The Biden crime family is one such notable example, in fact there are many examples just for that one particular mafia gang alone. That’s just one ring in operation right now, but it’s always been this way. And it’s literally standard operating procedure now.
Governments can’t maintain a proper budget either. Nor is there any limit to the spending. There is always some new emergency or crisis to be solved by borrowing money, levying or increasing taxes, and/or adding oppressive and onerous new regulations. The regulations and codes themselves are an out of control monster that absolutely require consultation of legal and accounting professionals for citizens, which is another racket, but i digress. Meanwhile the government (that you “pay” for) has accountants and lawyers on speed-dial to file papers against you should you miss a payment.
If they can just borrow from approved government “banks” why do they need our “tax payments” at all?
Two reasons come to mind immediately.
(1) To drain the middle class as a whole and keep them running on the hamster wheels that we’ve been so graciously provided. People with access to resources make terrible slaves.
(2) To pay the banker’s interest on the government loans. Very little, if any at all goes to pay the principle on the loan, it’s just a steady stream of revenue for the bank owner’s who don’t have the reserves backing up whatever digits they deign to provide for our “government expenditures.”

My favorite thing is that every year, the IRS tells you that YOU have to figure out how much you owe THEM. They don't even have the decency to present you with a bill. If you can't figure out the byzantine tax code and come up with the magic number on your own, you can pay a professional to do it for you and lose even more money than you would have before.
